Alison is an established Textile Artist who has been producing
and exhibiting her textile pictures for over 10 years. Rich
in detail and texture these 'paintings in thread' range from
gardens,landscapes and autumn woodlands to flowers and fruit.Each
picture is a combination of hand painted silk and free hand
machine embroidery. Alison has a degree in Fine Art/ Embroidery
from Goldsmiths College, she will work to commission from
clients photograghs of their house and garden or a favourite
scene. Alison also hold workshops and writes books about machine
embroidery.
